About me
Sybren Roede is a Master student in Computer Science and Engineering at the Computer Science Department at Eindhoven University of Technology. He earned his Bachelor degree in "Hogere Informatica" at the Hogeschool Rotterdam (or Rotterdam University) a university of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam. His strong points in Computer Science are design and implementation of software. In the last year of his master study, he gained interest in concurrency in programs to which he began working on and compared research and industry tools to find bugs in concurrent software. In a second research project, he investigated how Model Driven Engineering could produce safe, correct and highly concurrent code. To conclude his master study, he chose to research approaches to make correctness proofs for concurrent programs, which is considered the title of his master thesis.
From the start of his study he worked part-time at multiple companies, which specialized in Web Application Development. These companies focus on developing Web Information System, which range from small web shops to middle/large Customer Relationship Management systems. He also developed service oriented software which needed a high level of security and reliability.
